SATRIA-1

SATRIA-1, built by Thales Alenia Space for PT Pasifik Satelit Nusantara (PSN), is Indonesia's first very high throughput satellite (VHTS), with 150 Gbps of Ka-band capacity positioned at 146° East. BAKTI Kominfo - the government body overseeing Indonesia's internet access expansion - contracted the satellite's capacity to deliver broadband connectivity to schools, hospitals, and public buildings on the country's remote islands.

PSN selected Falcon 9 in September 2020, choosing it over Chinese launchers and Ariane 5.
