Ovzon-3 is a high-throughput geostationary communications satellite built by Maxar Space Systems for Swedish operator Ovzon, designed for mobile broadband using small on-the-move terminals, primarily serving defense and government customers. It became the first commercial GEO satellite to use Redwire's Roll Out Solar Array (ROSA) technology, with two lightweight flexible array wings deployed and confirmed operational on January 10, 2024.

First Falcon 9 GTO mission to use a return-to-launch-site (RTLS) recovery, with the booster landing at LZ-1. All prior Falcon 9 GTO flights had recovered on drone ships; Ovzon-3's relatively low mass made an RTLS burn feasible for the first time on a geostationary transfer trajectory.
