Türksat 6A

The first fully domestically produced Turkish communications satellite, Türksat 6A was developed by TÜBİTAK Space Technologies Research Institute over a ten-year program with over 80% of components manufactured domestically. It operates at 42° East in geostationary orbit, providing Ku-band coverage for civil telecommunications and X-band capacity for military communications across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
