BlueBird Block 1

The first five commercial satellites in AST SpaceMobile's BlueBird constellation, designed to deliver broadband coverage to standard unmodified smartphones via existing cellular infrastructure. Each satellite carries a 64-square-meter (690 sq ft) phased array antenna - the largest commercial array deployed in low Earth orbit at the time - on a spacecraft of roughly 1,500 kg, comparable in scale to the company's BlueWalker 3 prototype.
