First orbital test of Starlink's "mini laser" - an optical inter-satellite link terminal for third-party satellites and space stations, rated at 25 Gbps over distances up to 4,000 km - on one of the 28 v2 mini optimized Starlinks delivered to the 53° shell.

B1085's 10th flight also set a mark: it became the first Falcon 9 booster to complete 10 missions within its first year of service, debuting on Starlink Group 10-5 in August 2024 and turning around its 10th flight in just 359 days.
