Dragon's trunk carried CLARREO Pathfinder — a reflectance instrument designed to measure sunlight reflected by Earth with five to ten times the accuracy of current climate sensors, serving as a risk-reduction step toward a future full CLARREO climate observatory. It flew alongside STP-H11, a Space Force and NASA package whose STORIE imager tracks the ring current during geomagnetic storms and whose AIMSS spectrometer studies ionospheric plasma and spacecraft thruster plumes.
