Globalstar 2-R Launch 1

Falcon 9 carried the first eight of Globalstar's HIBLEO-4 replacement satellites, built by MDA Space in Montreal, with nine more on order. A second Falcon 9 launched USSF-366 from Vandenberg 38 minutes later, the shortest gap SpaceX had put between orbital launches.

Amazon agreed in April 2026 to acquire Globalstar for roughly $11.6 billion; at the time of the launch the deal had not closed.
