Globalstar M104-120

The first of two planned launches carrying Globalstar's HIBLEO-4 batch of 17 replacement satellites, nine aboard this flight. Built by MDA on Rocket Lab bus platforms, the new satellites are designed to refresh the low Earth orbit constellation that powers Apple's Emergency SOS via Satellite and messaging services on iPhone 14 and later.

Amazon announced plans in April 2026 to acquire Globalstar and fold the network into its Amazon Leo constellation, with Apple also agreeing to transition future iPhone satellite services to Amazon Leo once the deal closes.
