SDA Tranche 2 Transport Layer A
Planned August 2026
First of ten launches deploying the Space Development Agency's Tranche 2 Transport Layer, which expands the agency's low-orbit data relay network from regional to global coverage. The constellation combines three satellite variants - Alpha, Beta, and Gamma - built by York Space Systems, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Rocket Lab, and Tyvak, and provides low-latency tactical connectivity, including Link 16 data links, as part of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture.
