MRV-MEP
Success
JUL 21202621:15:00 UTCMRV carries two distinct capabilities: three detachable Mission Extension Pods that it physically installs on aging GEO satellites, each adding roughly six years of propulsion life, and DARPA's RSGS robotic payload capable of inspection, anomaly resolution, and satellite relocation. Confirmed MEP customers include Optus (Optus D3) and Intelsat. The spacecraft uses electric propulsion for the roughly 10-month climb to geosynchronous orbit; servicing operations are expected to begin in 2027.
