The FOO Fighter (Fire-control On Orbit-support-to-the-war Fighter) satellites are a Space Development Agency program designed to provide fire-control-quality tracking of advanced missile threats, including hypersonic glide vehicles. Built by Millennium Space Systems, the eight-satellite constellation forms part of the SDA's Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture and goes beyond the detection function of the existing Tracking Layer by generating targeting-quality data suitable for guiding intercepts.
