Falcon 9 lifted off from Vandenberg just 38 minutes after another Falcon 9 launched Globalstar satellites from Cape Canaveral. The two flights were the shortest gap SpaceX had ever put between orbital launches, breaking a record it had set in August 2024.

The mission itself was classified, flown for the US Space Force and assessed to carry a batch of Starshield-based satellites into low Earth orbit.
