With a mass of 9.2 tonnes, Jupiter-3 is the heaviest commercial geostationary satellite ever launched. Built by Maxar Technologies for Hughes Network Systems, it provides 500 Gbps of broadband capacity across the Americas.

This was the first Falcon flight to use the medium coast mission-extension kit on the second stage.
