Starship Flight 13

Success
JUL 24202622:51:00 UTC

Thirteenth Starship integrated flight test and the second flight of the V3 vehicle. Starship released 20 Starlink V3 satellites - the first deployment of the next-generation Starlink design - though the flight stayed suborbital and the satellites demised on reentry roughly 20 minutes after release.

The Super Heavy booster completed its boostback burn on all 33 engines, a first for the V3 booster, but only a subset relit for landing and it came down hard in the Gulf. The ship flew a full-duration ascent, demonstrated an in-space Raptor relight, and rode reentry to a soft, intact splashdown in the Indian Ocean - the first clear look at an undamaged heatshield.
