SBIRS GEO-4
Success
JAN 20201800:48:00 UTCAtlas V carried the fourth geosynchronous satellite of the Space-Based Infrared System, which detects ballistic missile launches by their infrared signature. Unlike the three earlier SBIRS GEO launches, it flew with a strap-on solid booster, leaving the Centaur upper stage enough fuel for a deorbit burn after separation.
