Atlas V carried two Air Force spacecraft to geosynchronous orbit: CBAS, a military communications relay for senior leaders and combatant commanders, and EAGLE, an Air Force Research Laboratory experiment platform built on the ESPAStar adapter that can host up to six payloads or release up to 12 free-flyers.
