Success
OCT 06202318:06:00 UTCKuiperSat-1 and KuiperSat-2 were prototype satellites for Project Kuiper (later renamed Amazon Leo), Amazon's planned low Earth orbit broadband constellation. The pair served as the first on-orbit validation of Kuiper satellite hardware, undergoing months of testing to verify broadband performance, solar array deployment, and end-to-end network operations before full production began.
The first of nine Atlas V launches in ULA's contract with Amazon, and the last flight of the Atlas V 501 configuration.
