ViaSat-3 EMEA
Success
NOV 14202503:04:00 UTCViaSat-3 EMEA was the second satellite in Viasat's three-satellite Ka-band broadband constellation, designed to deliver over 1 Tbps of network capacity across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Following the antenna deployment failure of ViaSat-3 Americas at its 2023 launch - which left that satellite at roughly ten percent of its intended capacity - ViaSat-3 EMEA was repositioned to serve the Americas instead.
The final geostationary launch of the Atlas V and of the Atlas rocket family as a whole; the remaining Atlas V flights carried Amazon Leo satellites to low Earth orbit.
