Atlantis delivered Quest, the joint airlock that gave the station its own exit for spacewalks and ended its dependence on a docked shuttle or the Russian segment for EVAs. The new arm Canadarm2 lifted the airlock from the payload bay and berthed it to Unity, after which the crew added the high-pressure gas tanks.
