Soviet R-7-derived medium-lift orbital rocket

Voskhod was a modified Vostok crammed with an extra seat. Only two flew, but they mattered: Voskhod 2 carried Alexei Leonov outside the craft in March 1965 — the first spacewalk in history — though his suit ballooned so badly he nearly couldn't get back in.
