Vega's first fully commercial flight, with no European government customer on board, carried Kazakhstan's first Earth observation satellite. Built by Airbus Defence and Space, the spacecraft images at 1 m panchromatic and 4 m multispectral resolution; it flew as DZZ-HR until it reached orbit.
