Mohammed VI-A

First satellite in Morocco's Mohammed VI Earth observation constellation. Built by Thales Alenia Space and Airbus Defence and Space on the AstroSat-1000 bus, the satellite provides high-resolution optical imagery for mapping, agricultural monitoring, natural disaster management, and border surveillance. A companion satellite, Mohammed VI-B, was launched separately aboard Vega in November 2018.
