PRISMA (PRecursore IperSpettrale della Missione Applicativa) is ASI's medium-resolution hyperspectral imaging satellite, developed by OHB Italy with Leonardo supplying the electro-optical instrument. It carries a pushbroom sensor covering approximately 250 spectral bands across the 400–2500 nm range at 30 m spatial resolution, enabling characterisation of Earth's surface chemistry alongside conventional panchromatic imagery.

VV14 was Arianespace's 600th satellite delivered to orbit.
