Vega's return to flight after the July 2019 launch failure, and the first demonstration of Arianespace's Small Satellites Mission Service (SSMS) rideshare dispenser. The SSMS dispenser deployed 53 satellites, including 14 Flock CubeSats on QuadPack deployers; 12 additional Flock CubeSats were released separately by the ION SCV-001 Lucas orbital transfer vehicle.

NEMO-HD and TRISAT were Slovenia's first satellites; OSM-1 Cicero was Monaco's first satellite.

Two Lemur-2 CubeSats failed to deploy and de-orbited along with the Vega 4th stage.
