THEOS-2, built by Airbus Defence and Space on the AstroBus-S platform, provides Thailand's Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) with 50-centimetre resolution Earth observation capability for mapping, agricultural monitoring, and disaster-response work. It is the successor to THEOS-1, which has been in orbit since 2008.
