Sentinel-2C

Third Sentinel-2 satellite for ESA's Copernicus Earth observation programme, continuing the multispectral optical imagery mission at 10–60 m resolution over land and coastal waters. Sentinel-2C formally took over from Sentinel-2A on 21 January 2025, replacing it as one of the two operational satellites in the constellation.

Final flight of the original Vega configuration, completing the operational transition to the upgraded Vega-C variant.
