Biomass

The 7th Earth Explorer mission in ESA's Living Planet Programme, designed to study global forest biomass. Biomass carries the first P-band synthetic aperture radar to operate from orbit, capable of penetrating forest canopies to measure carbon stocks, providing data to improve global carbon cycle models and support climate change research.
