SHALOM

SHALOM (Spaceborne Hyperspectral Applicative Land and Ocean Mission) is a joint Earth observation satellite developed by the Italian Space Agency (ASI) and the Israel Space Agency (ISA), with industrial partners including Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Thales Alenia Space Italy. The satellite carries a hyperspectral imager with 10-metre ground resolution and 240 spectral channels spanning the visible, near-infrared, and shortwave infrared spectrum, designed to characterize land cover, vegetation, water quality, and coastal environments.
