Dedicated in-flight escape system test, with the abort motor fired 45 seconds after launch. The RSS Jules Verne capsule separated cleanly and descended safely under parachutes, peaking at just 7.1 km altitude. The booster, which had not been expected to survive the abort, continued to an apogee of 93.7 km (58.2 mi) before completing an unplanned and successful propulsive landing.

The 5th and final flight of New Shepard 2 (NS2).
