Success
MAY 19202413:30:00 UTCNew Shepard carried six passengers, among them Ed Dwight, who at 90 became the oldest person to reach space at the time, passing William Shatner, who was 90 when he flew on NS-18 in 2021.
Dwight had trained as an Air Force astronaut candidate in the 1960s and was recommended to NASA in 1963, but was not selected.
It was the first crewed New Shepard flight since August 2022, before an uncrewed flight failed that September.
