CBERS-4A

CBERS-4A upgraded the China-Brazil Earth Resources programme with a new Chinese Imager camera offering improved spectral and spatial resolution, a lighter bus, and a five-year operational life against CBERS-4's three. Jointly operated by CRESDA and INPE, the satellite continues the programme's work monitoring land use, water resources, and Amazon deforestation.

Ethiopia's first satellite, ETRSS-1, flew as a rideshare.
