Victus Nox
A Tactically Responsive Space-3 (TacRS-3) demonstration for U.S. Space Force Space Systems Command's Space Safari Program Office. Millennium Space Systems built the satellite - a small spacecraft in low Earth orbit designed to conduct space domain awareness operations, including rendezvous and proximity operations to identify and track other resident space objects.
Firefly received the formal launch order and lifted off 27 hours later, the fastest end-to-end responsive launch in U.S. history at the time; the prior record was 21 days. Millennium Space Systems established contact on the satellite's first ground pass and declared it mission-ready 37 hours after launch.
