QuickSounder

NOAA's Near Earth Orbit Network (NEON) is a new programme aimed at improving atmospheric data latency using smaller spacecraft. QuickSounder, its first satellite, carries a refurbished Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder (ATMS) to profile atmospheric temperature and humidity, with a design target of delivering 95% of measurements to forecasters within 30 minutes.
