Epsilon lifted off on 9 November 2021, five weeks after an emergency stop 19 seconds before the planned 1 October launch cancelled the first attempt for further checks of ground facilities. It carried JAXA's RAISE-2, built by Mitsubishi Electric to test six technologies in orbit, among them a fiber optic gyro and a 3D-printed antenna, along with eight smaller satellites.
