Yunyao-1
Success
JAN 11202405:30:00 UTCThree Yunyao-1 satellites extended the Yunyao atmospheric sounding constellation, a commercial network operated by Yunyao Aerospace that uses GNSS radio occultation to profile temperature, humidity, and pressure through the atmosphere for weather forecasting and typhoon monitoring.
Maiden flight of Gravity-1, which at the time was the worlds most powerful all-solid-propellant launch vehicle, capable of delivering 6.5 tonnes to low Earth orbit. Orienspace conducted the debut from a mobile platform in the Yellow Sea, making Gravity-1 the first Chinese commercial rocket to launch from the sea.
