Gravity-1's first constellation launch put eight satellites for Qianfan, China's Thousand Sails broadband megaconstellation, into an 800 km orbit alongside an experimental high-throughput communications satellite. This was the first Qianfan launch on a solid-fuel rocket and the first from sea, and it brought the constellation's deployed total to 256.

Flying from waters off Shanghai with more than 3 tonnes of payload, Gravity-1 set Chinese sea-launch records for payload mass and orbit altitude.
