South Korean solid-fuel small-lift orbital test rocket

A solid-fuel space rocket developed by the Agency for Defense Development, South Korea's military research agency, to put small surveillance satellites into orbit at short notice. Its third test flight, in December 2023, flew from a barge off Jeju Island and placed S-STEP (Doory-Sat), a 100 kg radar satellite built by Hanwha Systems, into orbit. The full four-stage version is named Mir, an old Korean word for dragon.
