American methalox heavy-lift orbital rocket

Vulcan is ULA's replacement for both Atlas V and Delta IV Heavy — one modern rocket instead of two legacy ones. It flew its first four missions between January 2024 and February 2026, all successful on payload delivery despite a recurring solid rocket booster anomaly that prompted a Space Force investigation and temporary grounding in early 2026.
