Delta IV
American hydrogen-fuelled medium-to-heavy-lift orbital rocket
Delta IV first flew in November 2002, built for the US Air Force alongside the Atlas V, and most of its launches carried military satellites: GPS, Wideband Global SATCOM and classified National Reconnaissance Office payloads. Its three-core Heavy version launched Orion's first test flight in 2014 and the Parker Solar Probe in 2018. The last Delta IV Heavy flew in April 2024, as ULA moved to Vulcan.
