Italy
Emerging space power
Italy operated its own offshore launch platform off the coast of Kenya from the late 1960s into the 1980s, launching nine satellites on US Scout rockets. Today Avio builds and operates the Vega rocket, which flies from Kourou.
We track every launch from Italy.
