Mixed-outcome flight: a successful first reuse of a New Glenn booster paired with a payload loss. One of the two BE-3U engines in New Glenn's upper stage underperformed during a critical burn, placing BlueBird Block 2 FM2 - AST SpaceMobile's 7th BlueBird satellite - in an orbit too low for operational use. AST SpaceMobile declared the satellite lost and deorbited it the following day; the FAA classified the event as a mishap and grounded further New Glenn launches pending investigation.

The flight was the first AST SpaceMobile mission on New Glenn and the third National Security Space Launch demonstration. The first-stage booster ("Never Tell Me The Odds") flew for the second time, making this the first New Glenn booster reuse; it landed successfully on the Jacklyn drone ship.
