Reusable American heavy-lift orbital rocket

Blue Origin's heavy-lift rocket reached orbit on its first launch in January 2025, though the booster missed its ship landing. The second flight in November 2025 nailed the landing — making Blue Origin the second company ever to land an orbital booster, after SpaceX. A third flight in April 2026 left its satellite in the wrong orbit, and in May a New Glenn exploded during an engine test, badly damaging the pad.
