Angara
updated 4 days ago
Russian modular orbital rocket family
Russia spent over three decades developing Angara to replace Proton — same heavy-lift class, modern hardware, fewer toxic propellants. It flew its first test from Plesetsk in 2014 and its first mission from the new Vostochny cosmodrome in April 2024, but commercial bookings have never materialised.
We track every Angara launch.
