German small-lift orbital rocket

Isar Aerospace's Spectrum was the first orbital rocket launched from mainland Europe, lifting off from Andøya in northern Norway in March 2025. A vent valve opened unexpectedly thirty seconds into flight and the rocket was lost. A second launch attempt, "Onward and Upward," was preparing in early 2026.
