Japanese commercial solid-fuel small-lift orbital rocket

Japan's Space One has now attempted three flights of its Kairos solid-fuel rocket — March 2024, December 2024, and March 2026 — and all three have failed. The March 2024 debut self-destructed five seconds off the pad; the others were lost during first-stage burn. The company is targeting orbit from its Kii Spaceport in Wakayama prefecture.
